The culmination of clubs for classes 6 to 8, Synergy Spectrum was organised at Delhi Public School Bhopal on 18 January 2025. It was an exciting event that brought together the creativity, skills, and teamwork of the young dipsites. "Literature is the mirror of society's soul." The Department of English, DPS Bhopal, celebrated the 'Shri Gurudev Gupta Memorial Literary Fest, Festival De Literatura,' on 16 January 2025, honouring the birth anniversary of our esteemed founder patron, Late Shri Gurudev Dev Gupta ji, affectionately known as 'Babu ji.' Principal Ms. Vinita Malik eloquently shared insights into his visionary legacy. The team leaders, Vice Principals Dr. Yogesh Padegaonkar and Dr. Mukta Sharma and Headmistress Ms. Sheeba Rajesh lauded the untiring efforts of the pupils and their mentors for making the event a resounding success. The event featured competitions like The Tale Trail, Creative Duo, Poetic Melodies, Tail with a Twist and The Language Gladiators. Renowned luminaries, the distinguished literary stalwarts of Bhopal, including Mr Janak Bhatt, Mr Ashwin Singh Rawat, Ms Kiran Minocha, Dr Sushma Shrivastava, Mr Morris Lazarus, Ms Archana Zulfiqar and Ms Ruchi Arora, judged participants from Grades I to VIII across twelve prestigious institutions of Bhopal. This captivating array of events left the judges spellbound. The coveted overall Winners' Trophy was clinched by DPS Bhopal, with DPS Kolar Road, Bhopal, claiming the overall Runner Up Trophy. "The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.'" Parents and students are anxious about health issues as well as exam anxiety. 'How to be stress-free while preparing for exams' and 'How to keep ourselves healthy during the exam period' were the guiding principles of today's orientation program. The resource persons were Ms. Shikha Jha, Counsellor, and Ms. Chanda Sikdar, Nurse, Delhi Public School Bhopal, who conveyed the importance of both to the parents and students of Gurudev Shiksha Kendra, Neelbad, Bhopal. The program was witnessed by most of the parents. Mrs. Megha Muktibodh, Principal, Gurudev Shiksha Kendra, appreciated the tips provided by both the resource persons. She also commended the attendance of the parents and encouraged the pupils to give their 100% in the examination. “Smart Solutions for a smarter world“. 11th January 2025, Saturday, our young Dipsites of grade VIII visited Science Fiesta 2024-25 organized by Regional Science Center, Bhopal, to experience the recent trends in science and cutting edge technology. The visit highlighted the growing importance of such institutions in shaping the future of education and fostering a deeper understanding of the world of science. The science center's hands-on learning approach was a powerful tool in sparkling interest in STEM fields, particularly among students from diverse backgrounds. The Department of English of Delhi Public School organized an Inter House Monologue Competition – Echoes of Austen, for the students of class VIII. Participants from all four houses brought the stage to life with their compelling performances. Each student presented a carefully chosen monologue, from the novel ‘Pride and Prejudice’ by Jane Austen. The young orators captivated the audience with their emotional depth, articulation, and stage presence, leaving everyone thoroughly impressed. Bloom and Beyond: Embracing the Adventures of Growing Up' - the session was organised for the students of Grade 5 on 26th December 2024. The resource person Dr. Kanika Dang talked about the topics like growth and teenagehood. The students were informed about the physical and emotional transformation occurring during puberty. The session was interactive and engaging, where students openly shared their opinions and asked queries related to the topic. Overall, it was a very fruitful session for the students.
