Pandemic has taught us many things. With the physical school coming to a sudden end DPS Bhopal has excelled in all the fields through virtual means . Few to be listed are :
Continuous , comprehensive Virtual classes on Google classroom .
Elaborate , continuous Virtual celebrations of special days and festivals broke the monotony of lockdown making students giggle and enjoy the festivities with their fellow students .
Conduction of Virtual Competitions and generation of e certificates were source of motivation for the students which kept the spirit of the competition alive amongst the students .
As the parents could not be called in the portals of the school so the teachers decided to reach to the homes of the students through Virtual Open Houses and ensured that every achievement of the students was shared with the parents to keep the spirit of teaching learning alive amongst the students and their parents .
Workshops and sessions and Webinars : The learning and teaching must go on and so constant webinars were organized to boost the morale of the students and to heal them emotionally . This was an effort to bring them out of the widespread fear and anxiety which every household was going through .
Physical school :
Night Camp : It is an annual event which is organized at the end of class 3 . The students enjoy staying away from their parents at the school premises becomes their home away from home for two nights and one day . The event commences with grand cultural opening and comprises of numerous interesting activities. The Night camp gift has always been an attraction for the students .
Annual Functions : A cultural platform where in 80 to 90% students get the chance to set the stage on fire . Their efforts are accredited with the participation certificates .
Annual Sports Carnival : A weeklong celebration is an annual feature which commences with the formal inauguration ceremony comprising the march-past by four houses . The entire school gets submerged in the wave of sports and the spirit of competition takes over . The sportsmanship triumphs and the event formally closes with a closing ceremony .
