Netritva-The Investiture Ceremony at DPS Bhopal 2024-25

The morning of 24 July 2024 had the vivacity of pride, honour, and ardour as the day witnessed the formal induction of the student leaders into the prestigious Student Council of Delhi Public School Bhopal for the academic session 2024-25 in a magnificent Investiture Ceremony – Netrutva, at HMG Centre, Bhopal. The Chief Guest for the occasion, Hon’ble Shri Rao Uday Pratap Singh Ji, Minister for School Education and Transport, Government of Madhya Pradesh, was formally welcomed. The auspicious occasion was further graced by revered Pro-Vice Chairman Sir, Shri Hari Mohan Gupta Ji, Shri Abhishek Mohan Gupta, and eminent luminaries from the Management Committee, JSWS, faculty members, and proud parents, all eager to witness the birth of a new era of student governance.

The Principal, Ms. Vinita Malik, the Vice Principals, Dr. Yogesh Padegaonkar and Dr. Mukta Sharma, along with the Headmistress, Ms. Sheeba Rajesh, and the Dean of Shiksha Kendra, Ms. Megha Muktiboth, imparted their blessings to the newly appointed Student Council, accentuating the significance of their roles and encouraging them to lead with integrity and commitment. Ninety-one Office Bearers were felicitated with badges and sashes, their heads held high, radiating tenacity and strength of character. The young brigade of competent leaders was overwhelmed with high regard, congratulations, and bestowed with insightful treasures of wisdom on their leadership role and responsibilities from all the esteemed guests, instilling in them a sense of purpose and determination to be the epitome of true leadership. The event also showcased captivating cultural dance and vocal performances by talented students, celebrating the diversity and talents that thrived within the school. The Student Council took the oath administered by the Chief Guest to live up to the expectation and work in sync with the motto of the school, ‘Service Before Self.’ The Acceptance Speech was delivered by the Head Boy Granth Bangard and Head Girl Kaushiki Sharma, followed by the Vote of Thanks by the President of the Student Council, Prakamya Siddh Balot. In essence, the Investiture Ceremony at DPS Bhopal was a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing holistic development and instilling values of leadership among its students. The morning of 15 July 2023 had the effervescence of pride, honor, and enthusiasm as the day witnessed the formal induction of the student leaders into the prestigious Student Council of Delhi Public School Bhopal for the academic session 2023-24 in a magnificent Investiture Ceremony, at HMG Centre, Bhopal.

The Chief Guest for the occasion, Ms Deepika Suri ( IPS)IG Administration MP Police and the Guest of Honour, Mr. Amitesh Rathi, alumnus DPS Bhopal, AIR-373, UPSC CSE-2023 were solemnly welcomed.

The auspicious occasion was further graced by revered Pro-Vice Chairman Sir, Shri Hari Mohan Gupta Ji and eminent dignitaries from the Management Committee, JSWS, faculty members, and proud parents, all eager to witness the birth of a new era of student governance.

‘Sopan-Steps to Lead’- The Investiture Ceremony at DPS Bhopal 2022-23

“A leader knows the way, goes the way adjusts the sail and shows the way.” — John Maxwell Investiture Ceremony is one of the formal occasions of the school where the newly elected members of the esteemed School Council are formally vested with power and position. Maintaining the tradition, Delhi Public School Bhopal, earnestly appointed the Student Council in all its pomp and grandeur with a scintillating Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2022-23 on Sunday,7 August 2022 in the School premises.

The Chief Guest for the occasion, Dr Vineet Kapoor, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Head Quarter) Bhopal was cordially welcomed. The auspicious occasion was further graced by Shri Hari Mohan Gupta ji, Chairman JSWS, Pro Vice Chairman—DPS Bhopal, Indore & Kolar Road Bhopal, Mr. Abhishek Mohan Gupta, Member, Managing Committee DPS Bhopal -Indore –Kolar Road & Rau, Dr. Dharam Verma, Director Academics JSWS, Vice Principals, Dr Yogesh Padegaonkar & Dr. Mukta Sharma, Head Mistress, Mrs. Sheeba Rajesh, parents of Council Members, students and teachers who added the necessary impetus to the Red- Letter Day.

The beginning of the solemn and prestigious Ceremony was marked by the welcome address by Madam Principal, Mrs.Vinita Malik. Then, 101 Office Bearers were felicitated with badges, sashes and adorned with the flags.

Pro Vice Chairman Sir Shri Hari Mohan Gupta Ji in his speech congratulated the newly elected student committee members and motivated them to discharge their responsibilities with utmost sincerity.

Addressing the new leaders, the Chief Guest, Dr Vineet Kapoor exhorted the students to assimilate knowledge in real life by sharing the magical word ASK with the students which stands for (attitude, skill and knowledge).

The newly elected Council comprising of President, Yashveer Moolchandani, Secretary, Anushka Sharma, Head Boy, Sanidhya Chouksey, Head Girl, Navya Nigam,Head Boy (Middle School), Aarnav Jain, Head Girl (Middle School), Eshani Jain, Head Boy (Primary wing), Aadvik Jain, Head Girl (Primary wing), Avika Baweja, Head Boy (Twitter Zone) Eshaan Jain, Head Girl (Twitter Zone) Avika Godha, Head Boy (KZ) Kabeer Sadani, Head Girl (KZ)Aaradhya Gupta, and others were showered with blessings and congratulations. The Student Council took the oath administered by the Chief Guest to live up to the expectation and work in sync with the motto of the school- ‘Service Before Self.

The Acceptance Speech was delivered by the Head Boy followed by the Vote of Thanks by the President Student Council. Overall, it was an exemplary programme marked with immaculate solemnity, dignity and uniformity.
