The Republic Day celebration 2024

The Republic Day celebration at DPS Bhopal, themed “Viksit Bharat: Vision India @ 2047,” unfolded as a splendid manifestation of patriotic ardor among the students. The tricolour was ceremoniously unfurled by the esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Nitin Ambaselkar Ji, accompanied by the resonant strains of the National Anthem.

Inaugurating the event, the Principal’s welcome address implored the young Dipsites to emerge as conscientious citizens, steadfastly upholding the virtues enshrined in our venerable constitution. The tableau presentations eloquently showcased the opulent heritage of Madhya Pradesh, the technological acumen encapsulated in Mission Chandrayaan-3, and the stellar achievements of our cricketers in the World Cup.

The disciplined cadence of the March Past, executed with precision by the youthful cadets and students, coupled with a mesmerizing drill display, infused the gathering with an exuberant patriotic spirit. A motivational highlight ensued with the felicitation of the NCC Cadets and the commendation of the support staff acknowledging their invaluable contributions.

The Best House Trophy was bestowed upon the distinguished Amaltas House.

The Chief Guest’s inspirational address had a patriotic impetus.

The culmination of the event was with the solemn oath of integrity and a note of gratitude.

Independence Day Celebration 2023

Delhi Public School Bhopal commemorated the 77th Anniversary of the Indian Independence Day on 15 August 2023 with pride and penchant. The portals of the school reverberated with the spirit of boundless patriotism and unity in diversity to pay special homage to the sacrifices of all the freedom fighters for the invaluable gift of freedom and liberty.

The momentous occasion commenced with the hoisting of the Tricolour by the Chief Guest, Shri Nitin Ambaselkar, President Finance and Accounts JSWS and CAO, DPS Bhopal, Indore, Kolar Road and Rau followed by the National Anthem. The assemblage had the benign presence of the Parent Representatives, Dr. Anil Jain and Mrs Jain, in-house dignitaries, staff and students.The medley of Patriotic songs by the young Dipsites enthused patriotic fervour into every heart.

The vivid cultural extravaganza had every heart swell with pride and patriotism at the jaw dropping dance performances, mellifluous renditions and talk show enumerating the theme- ‘From Digital Dependence to Indelible Independence’. Congratulatory greetings poured in from the Principal, Mrs Vinita Malik and the Chief Guest who lauded the incredible performances of the students and exhorted them to curtail digital dependency and cherish the freedom bestowed upon us with utmost dignity and responsibility.

The felicitation of the students of Shiksha Kendra and NCC Cadets for their remarkable contribution was overwhelming.

The spectacular event culminated with the Pledge to serve and uphold the dignity of the country and Vote of Thanks by the House Captains.

The Republic Day celebration 2023

Delhi Public School Bhopal celebrated the 74th Republic Day on 26th January with profound patriotic fervour and spirit.

Inundated with great gusto, the Principal Mrs. Vinita Malik escorted the Chief Guest for the day, Shri Hari Mohan GuptaJi, Chairman JSWS, Chancellor JLU, Pro Vice Chairman, DPS Bhopal-Indore-Kolar Road-Rau with revered guest, Shri Abhishek Mohan Guptaji, Joint Secretary JSWS Bhopal, Pro-Chancellor, JLU Bhopal, to unfurl the tricolour followed by the National Anthem. Blessings of Goddess Saraswati were invoked to mark the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami.

A plethora of activities were organised to infuse the spirit of pride and patriotism among the students. The patriotic convocation by the Principal, Mrs. Vinita Malik enumerated the indomitable spirit & contribution of the mothers of the martyrs and unsung women warriors in the freedom struggle.

The soulful patriotic rendition, mesmerizing dance performance, Theme Talk on Nari Shakti- Kal, Aaj aur Kal highlighting the saga of growth and empowerment of women over time and the power-packed performance by the little enthusiasts of Kidszone enthralled the audience.The most exciting moment of the day was Amaltas House winning the Best Inter-House Trophy. The Zonal toppers and medals winners of IGKO were felicitated along with the institution’s helping hands and support staff, as a mark of gratitude for their relentless service.

Pro Vice Chairman Sir motivated the young Indians to revere the National Anthem.

The patriotic extravaganza culminated with a pledge to uphold the unity, integrity of the country and expression of gratitude by Ananya Jain, Palash House Vice Captain.

Independence Day Celebration 2022

India celebrates its 75th Independence Day as ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotshav’ to commemorate its freedom. In continuum with the same fervour and spirit, Delhi Public School Bhopal celebrated the 75th Independence Day on 15th August 2022.

Inundated with great gusto, the Principal Mrs. Vinita Malik escorted the Chief Guest for the day Mr. Nitin Ambaselkar, Treasurer, Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal & Chief Accounts Officer, Delhi Public School Bhopal-Indore-Kolar Road-Rau to hoist the tricolour followed by the National Anthem. Extending her greetings, the Principal praised the invincible spirit of our brave hearts and urged the students to contribute towards making India reach the pinnacle of glory in global scenario. Through the podcast, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the students enumerated the rich contribution and accomplishments in the field of nuclear power, space and technology, medicine and health and art and literature.

The ambience echoed with the melodious rendition of ‘Vande Matram’ overwhelming everyone with patriotism. A mesmerising dance ballet ‘India as the world leader’ enumerating India’s incredible past, the importance of its struggles and rising to eminence enthralled the audience. The students of Gurudev Shiksha Kendra added charm with their scintillating group song performance.

To commemorate the day, a Patriotic Group Song Competition was also organised for students of Classes VI-VIII in which the students enthusiastically participated. The Chief Guest felicitated 22 NCC Cadets with Certificates who participated in the annual training camp. The event was graced by Vice Principals Dr Yogesh Padegaonkar and Dr Mukta Sharma, Headmistress, Mrs. Sheeba Rajesh, Mrs. Megha Muktibodh, Dean Gurudev Shiksha Kendra, staff and students. The patriotic extravaganza culminated with the Oath to uphold the unity, integrity and devotion to the nation and Vote of Thanks by the Kachnar House Captain, Tanay Nigam.
