Dance

Delhi Public School offers dance as an enriching co-curricular activity. Students get an opportunity to learn Classical, Western, and Folk dance, providing a wide range of dance experiences. Through this program, they can explore the graceful moves of Kathak and Bharatnatyam, groove to freestyle hip-hop, and engage in traditional Indian folk dances. These dance activities not only foster creativity and teamwork but also allow students to connect with diverse cultural traditions.

Dance is an elective subject for students of Classes XI & XII. There are two dedicated rooms for dance practice: the Classical Room and the Western Room.

The Classical Room is soundproof and equipped with air conditioning, ensuring that students can focus on their dance routines in a comfortable setting.

The Western Room provides a spacious and dynamic environment for freestyle hip-hop and other modern dance styles.

Students actively participate in dance activities, showcasing their talents at various events such as Bal Rang, national and international performances and school functions which offer students more opportunities to perform and gain stage experience.
