Closing Ceremony: Second JSWS (U-15) Cricket Cup Tournament 2024-25 The 2nd JSWS (U-15) Cricket Cup Tournament 2024-25 culminated at Delhi Public School Bhopal. The closing ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. Sushil Singh Thakur, Vice President of the Bhopal Cricket Association. The Department of Computer Science organized a unique Video Making " Inter House Film skapping Competition" for students of Grades VI and VII on the fascinating topic: " The Rise of D. Gukesh " This competition allowed students to explore the inspiring journey of D. Gukesh, the Indian chess prodigy and present their creativity and storytelling skills through video creation. Mr. Hemant Yadav, Badminton Coach, Western Central Railways, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Principal Ms. Vinita Malik applauded the players for their dedication and encouraged them to chase their dreams with determination. The Sports Manager, Mr. Bharat Singh presented a detailed report highlighting the tournament's success. DPS Bhopal Hosts U-15 JSWS Sports Tournament Delhi Public School Bhopal, inaugurated the 2nd Under-15 JSWS Cricket and Badminton Tournaments on December 16, 2024. The event, held under the aegis of the Jagran Social Welfare Society, brings together DPS campuses from Bhopal, Kolar Road, Rau and Indore. It aims to foster sportsmanship and excellence among young athletes. The opening ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. Mumtaz Khan, Senior Vice President of the Athletics Federation of India. A vibrant March Past and the release of balloons marked the formal launch. The ceremonial flag was raised, followed by match announcements by Sports Coach Mr. Bharat Singh. Principal Ms. Vinita Malik addressed the gathering and encouraged the participants with her motivational words. A mesmerizing group song added to the event's charm. 68th State SGFI Shooting Competition The young champions of DPS Bhopal have once again demonstrated precision, determination and excellence at the 68th State SGFI Shooting Competition, held at MP State Shooting Academy from November 29 to December 1, 2024. In the U-14 categories, five skilled marksmen represented the school with exceptional performances: Ravya Chaturvedi (Class 8-A) secured a Gold Medal in U-14 Pistol Girls. Reet Manghani (Class 8-E) clinched a Silver Medal in U-14 Pistol Girls. Karman Singh Kalra (Class 9-I) earned a Bronze Medal in U-14 Pistol Boys.
