Annual Award Ceremony 2023-24

On November 9, 2024, Delhi Public School, Bhopal, celebrated its Annual Award Ceremony, “Encomium: Encouraging the Exponents,” to honour Dipsites for their remarkable academic accomplishments.

The distinguished Chief Guest, Mr Arnav Bhandari, an IPS officer from the 2024 batch and a proud DPS Bhopal alumnus, graced the event accompanied by Shri Abhishek Mohan Gupta, Joint Secretary of Jagran Social Welfare Society and Pro-Chancellor of Jagran Lakecity University.

The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome from Principal Ms Vinita Malik. In recognition of scholastic excellence, 680 students received awards across categories, including Star Tie, Star Badge, Scholar Badge and Full Attendance. Special scholarships awarded for exceptional academic achievements.

Annual Award Ceremony 2022-23

“Recognition is the best motivation.”

The 2nd Phase of the grandiloquent Award Ceremony, Encomium – Encouraging the Exponents was organised at DPS Bhopal on 4th November 2023 celebrating the academic resplendence of the prodigious Dipsites.

The momentous occasion had the radiant and illustrious presence of the Chief Guest, Mr Madhur Devender Singh, Joint Director, Enforcement Directorate, Bhopal and Mr Kapil Duggal, Advocate, High Court of Madhya Pradesh and Alumnus of DPS Bhopal as the Guest of Honour.

The Principal, Mrs Vinita Malik welcomed the gathering and appreciated the avante-garde scholastic achievements of the intelligentsia as a testament to their diligence, determination and dedication. The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour lauded the achievers and school’s culture of encouragement and sprinkled their pearls of wisdom to edify the audience. The prestigious ceremony witnessed the encouraging presence of Pro-Vice Chairman Sir, Shri Hari Mohan Gupta Ji, Vice Chairman, Executive Committee JSWS, Shri Abhishek Mohan Gupta Ji & President (Finance & Accounts), JSWS, Shri Nitin Ambaselkar Ji, Team leaders, staff and parents which boosted the morale of the awardees.

The felicitation of the students’ scholastic perspicacity, amidst the thunderous applause of the gathering, speaks volumes about the commitment of the school towards nurturing and honing talents to help them scale the summit of success. Flavoured aesthetically with Saraswati Vandana and melodious rendition by the choir, the event concluded leaving behind a sea of happy and contented expressions.

Annual Award Ceremony 2022-23

Delhi Public School Bhopal witnessed the Annual Award Ceremony 2022-23, Encomium – Encouraging the Exponents, an illustrious event, celebrating the exceptional academic achievements, transpired with unparalleled grandeur on 26 August 2023. Around 680 scholars of unparalleled distinction were lauded for their scholastic prowess with a slew of awards.

The Chief Guest for the glittering ceremony was Dr Vivek Kanhere, an esteemed Cardiac Surgeon of Bhopal and Dr Anjali Kanhere, Professor and Gynaecologist, Chirayu Medical College as the Special Guest for the occasion.

Applauding the resilience and commitment of the students on their meritorious excellence, Madam Principal reiterated gratitude to the parents for their unwavering support and faith.

Apart from the felicitation of students for SOF scholarship awards, the Principal, Mrs. Vinita Malik also received the SOF Best Zonal Principal award, M.P. Zone and Mr. Hemant Kumar Patidar and Ms Sangeeta Wadhwa were felicitated with the Best Zonal Teacher Award.

The Chief Guest appreciated and lauded the invaluable contribution of the school, teachers, parents and grandparents in illuminating the path to future greatness for Dipsites.

With the encouraging presence and support of in-house dignitaries, staff and students, the ceremony was a grand success.

Annual Award Ceremony 2019-20

Appreciation and rewarding is an excellent way to celebrate the hard work and success of students and to further motivate progression in them. The effervescence of ebullience and revelry warmed the morning of 5th November2022 as the adorned premise of Delhi Public School hosted Annual Award Ceremony,’ Prodigious Phenom’ for session 2019-20 to acknowledge the crème da la crème performance of its adroit students. The Chief Guest of the Ceremony was Shri Avinash Lavania (IAS) Collector and District Magistrate, Bhopal. Dr Sunil Malik, Neurologist and Dr. Monika Malik, Member, M.P. State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission graced the ceremony as Guests of Honour.

The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries followed by welcome address by the Principal Mrs.Vinita Malik.

Amidst the thunderous applause and encomium, the prodigies were felicitated with a slew of awards from Academic Scholarship to prestigious awards. In his address, the Chief Guest congratulated the awardees and praised the learning atmosphere of school which has groomed the students with ample opportunities of exploration and growth to follow their dreams.The prestigious ceremony was graced by Shri Hari Mohan Gupta ji, Chairman JSWS, Pro Vice Chairman—DPS Bhopal, Indore & Kolar Road Bhopal, Mr Abhishek Mohan Gupta, Member, Managing Committee DPS Bhopal -Indore –Kolar Road & Rau, Mr. Nitin Ambaselkar, Treasurer, Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal & Chief Accounts Officer, Delhi Public School Bhopal-Indore-Kolar Road-Rau and many other dignitaries.

Dean GSK, Mrs Megha Muktibodh, Vice Principals, Dr.Yogesh Padegaonkar and Dr. Mukta Sharma and Head Mistress, Mrs. Sheeba Rajesh congratulated the awardees and lauded their unremitting dedication.

The Guest of Honour, Dr. Sunil Malik inspired the young achievers to tread the path of truth and hardwork to have a meaningful life, to respect women and teachers and emulate the principles of Gandhiji. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Yashveer Moolchandani, President Student Council.

Annual Award Ceremony 2017-18

Delhi Public School Bhopal honoured the meritorious students of the school at the Annual Award Function on 6th October, 2018. The Dipsites were adorned with awards for excellence in academics, sports, music and dance and art for the session 2017-18 in a glittering ceremony in the presence of distinguished guests. The Chief Guest for the event was Mrs. Pragya Richa Shrivastava, IPS, Additional DGP, AJK, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh. Mr. Abhishek Mohan Gupta, Pro Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, Mr. Nitin Ambaselkar, CAO DPS Bhopal- Indore-Kolar Road, Mrs. Vinita Malik, Principal, DPS Bhopal, Vice Principal Dr.Yogesh Padegaonkar and the Headmistresses were also present to encourage the students. The Principal, Mrs. Vinita Malik congratulated the students upon their success. The atmosphere echoed with thundering applause as the young achievers received their awards.The Chief Guest in her speech congratulated the children for their performance and urged them to retain the winning spirit and unflinching zeal throughout their lives.
