Gurudev Shiksha Kendra

Inception

Gurudev Shiksha Kendra (GSK) was established on August 4th, 2003, as a visionary initiative by the late Shri Gurudev Gupta Ji to provide quality education to students from underprivileged sections of society. What began as a small institution with 120 students has now transformed into a thriving school serving a large community.

Motto

The motto of GSK is to offer high-quality education and upliftment to children from weaker sections of society. These students enjoy the same educational resources and infrastructure as those at Delhi Public School, ensuring an enriching and supportive learning environment. The well-trained faculty is committed to the well-being and academic success of each student.

Medium & Affiliation
GSK is affiliated with the Madhya Pradesh State Board, offering English-medium education from grades 1 to 12. The school provides students with uniforms, including sweaters, shoes, socks, and necessary stationery like bags, books, and notebooks—all free of cost. Additionally, free transportation services are available to all students.
Admission Criteria
  • Preference is given to girl children.
  • Families must hold a Below Poverty Line Ration Card.
  • Admissions for grade 1 are typically given to students from the nearby vicinity.
Achievements & Accolades

As GSK celebrates its 20th anniversary, over a thousand scholars have graduated from the institution. The school educates students from grades 1 through 10 and provides Commerce stream education for grades 11 and 12. More than thirty alumni are currently pursuing undergraduate degrees under the Chancellor’s Freeship Scholarship at Jagran Lakecity University, with several others completing their Master’s degrees and gaining employment at esteemed organizations.

Co-Scholastic Activities

To foster the holistic development of students, GSK regularly organizes oratorical competitions, art-oriented events, dance and music performances, and drawing and painting contests. Special assemblies celebrating cultural occasions provide opportunities for students to display their talents and creativity.

Examination & Open House
The academic year includes weekly subject tests of 20 marks, held every Tuesday, with six cycles of tests throughout the year. Term-wise exams carry 50 marks. To keep parents involved, GSK holds five Open House meetings each academic session, providing free transportation for parents to encourage their active participation in their child’s education.
GSK remains dedicated to providing a nurturing educational experience for its students and empowering them to reach their full potential.
